WHO we are

I’m William Russell author and illustrator of Light in the Dark, but I’m nothing without my wonderful family, my wife Tahlia and our potato baby (we call her Josie).

I’m currently studying at Moore Theological College, but I spend too much time procrastinating with these ‘side quests’.

The mother has long brown hair and is wearing a green shirt, holding a smiling baby girl in a light green dress and white tights. The father has short brown hair, wearing a white shirt, and is holding the baby as well.

WHAT we do

Little Lamps helps you to shine the light of the gospel even to heaven’s littlest.

The first book, “Light in the Dark”, is especially aimed at newborns, with high contrast black and white pictures perfect for those developing eyes. (But that’s not to say that my 82 year old grandmother doesn’t enjoy it as well)

WHY we do it

We believe that the gospel is the greatest news - God’s saving plan to send Jesus. And we believe that Jesus is the light for even the littlest eyes, and that the gospel can be heard by even the smallest ears.

Mark 10:14: Jesus said to them, “Let the little children come to me, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these”
